Waves In Motion By Benedetta Panisson On Radio Vanessa
03 may 2016 by art:i:curate team
Radio Vanessa and Round Seven present 'Waves in Motion' an artistic project in four episodes that challenge the site-specificity of performance art by inviting artists to present their projects on air. 'Waves in motion' was inspired by the context of Venice and the questions related to art in the public space and in general to the role of radio in the public realm.
Taking as a starting point Come to Venice, a work about Venice, about fear, rebellion and the sea, Benedetta will present her own intervention raising questions about excessive communities, un-sustainability, minorities, ambiguous processes, about Marquis de Sade, and the high tide siren, as well as her personal views in relation to conformism.
The broadcast will be live streamed at Radion Vanessa on May 3rd at 8:30pm.
