Voting for the 2016 Lovell Prize Winner Begins Now
03 nov 2016 by art:i:curate team
You can now determine the winner of the Lovell Prize through liking and pledging to the artists' funding campaigns, which will close on December 18, 2016.
The winner's artwork will be acquired into the Lovell art collection. Users who pledge to the winner’s work will share sale proceeds with the artist. Each pledge to a campaign equals one like. After a campaign has reached its target value, users may still vote by liking the work. Minimum pledge amount is $10.
Voters will be invited to the group exhibition on February 2, 2017 to meet the artists.
Joonhong Min, Urban Methodology triptych, ink pen on waste paper and objects, 2016.
Mary Wintour, Literal Drift, acrylic and collage on paper, 2014.
Stay tuned for interviews with the shortlisted artists in the coming weeks.
