Profession: Real Estate
Secret profession or as a kid I wanted to be: A Cosmonaute - that’s why I learned Russian
AIC: How would you describe your own personal aesthetic?
SL: Art is about emotion, curiosity, discovery and aesthetic is not the only way to experience all this specially in contemporary art where there is no aesthetic.
AIC: How would your friends describe your personality?
SL: Can you answer this question for me?
AIC: Charming, calm, eloquent.
AIC: What inspires you?
SL: "Make from my life a dream, and from a dream a reality" Antoine de Saint Exupery.
AIC: Who's your hero?
SL: In a certain way Don Quichotte because his life is about a journey and the quest for the impossible dream. That’s the life of a collector.
AIC: Do you consider yourself a collector? If so what do you collect?
SL: I am not interested by gathering objects. I consider myself like an "amateur d’art"; It is about pleasure and mental process.
AIC: What's your most precious possession?
SL: Freedom. Especially in art i want to be free to collect whatever I want and stop whenever I want.
AIC: What does the term 'curating' mean to you?
SL: A curator is somebody who is capable to write a story by using works instead of words.
AIC: Why did you get involved in this project?
SL: I like art:i:curate.
AIC: Describe Paul Smith in a few words.
SL: You feel his soul in his fashion.
AIC: Tell me something about yourself - anything.
SL: I am a happy man.
