Curated by Paul Smith & Friends // meet Pablo Gamundi de Rosendo
Curated by Paul Smith & Friends participant Pablo Gamundi de Rosendo

In celebration of Frieze Art Fair 2014art:i:curate teams with Paul Smith to host an innovative exhibition of work by emerging London-based artists that combines Mayfair’s deep-rooted art heritage with the digital world’s trail-blazing creative community.

Open to all, by registering at articurate.net, everyone has the opportunity to express their creativity in front of an audience of both art fans and the industry’s elite.

Curated by Paul Smith & Friends particiapant Pablo Gamundi de Rosendo is a family man who has a passion for old objects.

City: Madrid

Profession: Marketing Manager

Secret profession or as a kid I wanted to be: President of a football Club

AIC: How would you describe your own personal aesthetic?

PGR: Mediterranean, people never know if I am Spanish, Italian or Greek.

AIC: How would your friends describe your personality?

PGR: As a positive guy with a spark of craziness (in a good way).

AIC: What inspires you?

PGR: Everything around me can be a source of inspiration but I must admit that a lot of it comes from internet browsing.

AIC: Who's your hero?

PGR: A public figure that I really admire is cyclist Alberto Contador, but I think no one beats my Mom.

AIC: Do you consider yourself a collector?  If so what do you collect?

PGR: Yes, definitely, I have a small art collection. Not only paintings - I also collect posters from random places around the world that I like.

AIC: What's your most precious possession?

PGR: I think I have a few, usually old objects inherited from my grandparents, like an old jacket pin or an old collection of post stamps.

AIC: Why did you get involved in this project?

PGRI found it as a good opportunity to meet artists I didn’t know before.

AIC: How do you usually take art in?

PGR: I browse internet a lot but I also travel quite often to see museums, gallery openings or new exhibitions.

AIC: Describe Sir Paul Smith in three words.

PGR: Multidisciplinary, colorful, English.

AIC: Tell me something about yourself - anything.

PGR: I am a family man, I try to spend as much time with my family as possible.

See what emerging art Pablo likes.
