Istanbul based Asli Atamer is a manic collector and turned her hobby into her life.
Profession: Owner of Karakoy Junk, an art and design shop
Secret profession or as a kid I wanted to be: A kinetic artist - I've always loved both art and science and this would be the perfect combo.
AIC: How would you describe your own personal aesthetic?
AIC: How would your friends describe your personality?
AA: Curious, impatient, and passionate.
AIC: What inspires you?
AA: Anything lively.
AIC: Who's your hero?
AA: A passionate artist.
AIC: Do you consider yourself a collector? If so what do you collect?
AA: Yes, vintage designs and sculptures. I collect as much as I can.
AIC: What's your most precious possession?
AA: My imagination.
AIC: What does the term 'curating' mean to you?
AA: To me it's bringing eyes, brain, and heart together.
AIC: Why did you get involved in this project?
AA: Because I think its very cool to use digital to empower individuals to bring art into their own hands.

AA: Colourful, design, iconic.
AIC: Tell me something about yourself - anything.
AA: I am dreaming to turn all the junk that I collect into an art one day.
