Art Paris Art Fair 2016
29 mar 2016 by art:i:curate team
We are very excited to announce that art:i:curate artist Hooman Mehdizadehjafari is participating in Art Paris Art Fair 2016.
Hooman's work will be on view for the first time at this art fair as part of Silk Road Gallery's participation which will bring together a selection of the most promising young talents of the Iranian contemporary art scene. Through poetry and humour stepping away from the usual stereotypes and with a critical touch the selected artists working in a span of different media will invite the audiences on journey to Iran's past and present.
Hooman's sculptures and large-scale installations draw inspiration from personal and universal subjects that are then interwined with old and traditional Persian motifs to end up into simple and linear formulations that recall the circular movements found in nature. The smoothness and shine of the materials he employs are important elements of the artistic process.
