What debit/credit cards do you support?

Currently, you can pledge with your Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit card.

When is the money taken from my card?

Your card will be charged when and only if the Target Amount is reached. It usually takes 1-3 days for your bank to authorise clearance of funds.

Can I change my card details after I pledged?

Yes. You can amend your card details by clicking on "Change card details" on the work's page or in your profile under the "Works I funded" section.

Can I change the amount after I pledged?

We don’t currently have an option to change your pledge amount, but you can top up your amount by entering a new pledge for the same work during the funding period or contact us to change your pledge.

Can I cancel a pending pledge?

Your support of the Creator’s work is very much valued and helps the Creator continue their creative practice. If for any reason you must cancel your pledge, please contact us at least 48 hours before the campaign is closed and we will process the cancellation for you.

If the work I pledged to is sold, how do I get my payment?

Once the work you pledged to has been sold, you will receive an email notification.

If you have a PayPal account and would like to receive your payment via PayPal, please insert your email subscribed to your PayPal account in the Pay Back section of the Payment page. Alternatively, we will get in touch with you to coordinate payment via bank transfer or cheque.

Your payment will be sent to you within 30 days after sale.

Are payments on art:i:curate secure?

Yes. All transactions on art:i:curate are processed using Stripe, whose payments infrastructure meets and exceeds the most stringent security standards. For more information about Stripe’s secure system click here.

art:i:curate does not store your full card details. Only the last four digits and expiration date are displayed so that you know which of your cards you are using. You can delete your card details at any time in the Payment Methods section of your Account Settings.

Why was my card declined? Will you try to charge it again?

Unfortunately, credit card companies do not share with us the reasons as to why cards are declined. If your card is declined, we will get in touch with you to update your payment information and re-process your pledge. If we are unable to resolve payment issues within 7 days, your pledge will be cancelled.
