For Aram the spirit of the work is the labor of her hands. The hands perform political gestures that are intrinsic in her artistic practice. She uses her hands to pierce the cloth and pull the needle in a repetitive process that lets her get lost in a musical tempo. This raw repetition results into works that call upon an invisible but rather intense physical work that is usually forgotten.
