A conceptual work addressing the statelessness of many departing Guantanamo Bay detainees who, after being denied return to their homelands, are drowned in yet another state of limbo, while the US Department of Defense searches for third country to eventually accept them as refugees. Third countries of which the detainees have no choice in deciding and are unsure whether their families will be able to join them.

The ferry, carrying the luggage that is never unloaded, travels between Old Havana and Casa Blanca - in English translated as 'White House'. Read less
