Ink, colour remover, felt tip marker, drawing on museum map.
In this series Neda worked on art maps, which contain biennials, museums, art walks and galleries; locations the artist visited. She adds new layers on old plans and represents two aspects of lack; the first, caused by imperfection and the second is caused by paradox. Dumb and incommensurable evidence of the “past-distance-present” forms Neda's work. A work that is filled with a hazy and uncertain destiny for itself and its subject. Hence, layers are juxtaposed on each other. Sometimes they cover each other, sometimes stubbornly retain their shapes. There is no integrated totality.
