Steph Choy is a visual artist living and working between Singapore and London.

In her artistic practice she investigates the bodily gestures through the complex layers of casting, the juxtaposition with found objects and the photographic gaze. These multiple processes of working show her technical abilities in sculpture and image making as well as questioning the limits of viewing these methods within art.

Her photographic series can be seen as a contemporary reminiscent of classical still life portraitures, and as such are engaged in the historic discourse of contemplation.
