Born in Dragoni (Caserta), 1961. Moved to Naples in 1980.
Initial interest in anthropological photography, especially the rural world of Campania.
Collaborated with the Vesuviano Observatory in 1984, documenting Italy's living volcanoes.
Collaborated with Antonio Neiwiller between 1987 and 1993.
In 1992 won the "European Kodak Panorama" award in Arles. Published in The State of Affairs (2004). Krausz Photography Book Awards (2005). Bastianelli prize won in Rome in April 2005.
