MEET THE ARTIST: EMILY LAZERWITZ
Second talk by Emily Lazerwitz
How would you like to get a look inside the brilliant mind of artist Emily Lazerwitz? Join us for a drink this summer in Earls Court while the artist debates her own work.
Lazerwitz' art explores the way technology shapes how our language is developing. Her art is carefully hand typed using enigma and code into the form of her beautiful wall tapestries, which also tells us a story.
Lazerwitz holds a BA in Fine Art from Columbia University, New York (2014) as well as an MA in Fine Art from Slade School of Fine Art, London (2016) where she received the Julia Wood Memorial Prize. Her Exhibitions include ‘Greater Together’, Science Museum, London (2016); ‘Journeys’, Jewish Museum London (2015); ‘Multiplied Print Fair’, Christie’s, London, (2014); ‘BP Spotlight: Source - Order and Compulsion’, Tate Britain, London (2014) and more.
Drinks, tapas, art, and intriguing conversation. Could it get any better than that? RSVP today for the 20th of July!
Note: Each guest is kindly asked to cover food and drink bills separately.
