Frieze collateral // London

During Frieze a group of artists are secretly gathering together for a Jam session-like experiment: one which explores the artist's role in the context of an art fair through an interactive viewing in the form of an art happening.

This is not a traditional exhibition, but an event, which evokes a dialogue about art fairs. Guests are encouraged to participate.

Works are shown in the intimate setting of a Shoreditch apartment in an un-curated space, open to the artists' decisions with the freedom for impromptu collaborations and exchange of ideas.

This event runs 19-20 October. The Private View will take place on Saturday evening, during which there will be a special performance by THATCHER featuring a video collaboration with Noga Inbar at 10pm, and DJ set by Paradise Sonic Architecture at 10.30pm. On the Sunday the public is welcome to come by for a coffee or tea in a relaxed atmosphere. Artists will be present intermittently and various topics will be discussed.
