Multi-disciplinary conceptual artist Florence Lam captures and celebrates the most transient of objects in her photography: the bubble.
This work is part of a larger series of photographs by Lam, the ‘Bubble’ series. In these works, however, she aims to visualise and sculpt with air, creating a temporary and fluid photo-sculpture that can only be captured in the form of a still image. Therefore, the final image creates a sense of wonder in the viewer. Above all, we are aware of the action, and the moment, and can celebrate it.
